Paul is making progress...

Well, today they took the suction tube out of Paul's nose! They also took the IV out!

He's no longer attached to any more tubes. He was able to "eat" today (well, as close as it gets at this first stage: clear liquids). Clear beef broth, jello and maybe even a little ginger ale are about what he's allowed for now.

He's got some pain in his abdomen while he's digesting, but that could simply be because he hasn't consumed anything in nearly a week (and only had clear liquids on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week).

When I went in to visit tonight, we also took a short walk around his floor, so he really is making progress (and should likely be home by the weekend).
