We watched the first two hours of "Comic Relief"...

...we'll save the other hour for another day (probably tomorrow afternoon). We decided to end the night on a high note and stopped after Sarah Silverman.

Highpoints: SARAH! George Lopez (which surprised me, I've not listened to/seen his stand up and he was great), Suzy Essman (though her stuff felt a little hacky/modern day Borscht Belt to me, she was still pretty funny), Stephen Colbert/Jon Stewart, D.L. Hughley (who walked the same fine line that Sarah did...but didn't get booed by the bourgeois in the audience...

Lowpoints: RAY ROMANO!!! (I can't believe that people actually watched this guy's show. He's a low-rent Seinfeld. The only thing that would have been worse would have been one of those Blue Collar Comedy Tour guys). Howie Mandel (really DUMB idea...and like no one would recognize fucking HOWIE MANDEL 'cause he's wearing glasses...who does he think he is Clark Kent? It's not like he hasn't been on tv for YEARS and he doesn't have a hit show on these days....).

Middlepoints: Dane Cook (started out funny, then just kept repeating himself until he ran out of steam), Rosie O'Donnell (who looked great and was funny, but told stories she's already told on the View...I love you, Rosie, but please save something for the stage).
