Pushing Daisies - Make This Stuff Up

Fye - maybe a little better?

Today, I got the news that work is going to get just a little bit better...not a lot, but...

...specifically, Tina, a co-worker who I feel causes a great deal of my work stress (evidence, I was stressed at work when she was away for a few weeks, but not in the same ways...), is done at FYE as of tomorrow (and I'm off except to go pick up my check, which I may do after 4-something so I can still cash my check but don't have to even see her.

Her voice grates on my nerves. She also would go out of her way to interrupt me, even if there were plenty of other people at work who could answer whatever question it was that she had (and it REALLY infuriated me when she called me away from my other duties to answer a customer's question and it was something as simple as "where is ____ DVD?" and the answer was "right there" (pointing to the shelf right next to the front counter and her register)).

I also didn't like things I heard about her from others or read about her on others' LJ's. I'm not talking about gossip. I mean stuff like "I don't want to go to FYE when the scary lady is working there". The one that irked me the most was during one of my vacations, while we were in Disney World. Becky went in to shop and Tina, knowing who she was, said that she missed "HER" "little gayboy". First of all...that's offensive. Second of all, I think that Becky would have a stronger claim on me...I was in her bridal party and God forbid something happens to her and her husband, I'm entrusted with raising her child.

Tomorrow morning, we have an appointment with a real estate agent to see a new house. 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 2 car garage, eat in kitchen, finished basement. I can't wait to see it. I hope it's something that will suit our needs.

Visiting With My Sims - Erin Beaker

Here's the next installment to my neighborhood characters...

This is Erin. She's Loki's little sister. Loki we met here in this installment. Erin is not like her brother. She's nice. People in the neighborhood like her. She's got friends who care about her.
