Creperie Beaumonde

Tonight with the gang, we went to eat at: Creperie Beaumonde. It's located on the corner of 6th and Bainbridge in Philadelphia and is wonderful.

While they do have a selection of appetizers, salads and soups (and even had Filet Mignon on the menu tonight as a special), the main attraction here is crepes. Both Savory AND Sweet.

There are pre-selected combinations on the menu for both types or you can choose from the many different ingredients to create your own unique crepe.

I chose for dinner: grilled chicken breast, broccoli and mushroom with chive butter.

for dessert: chocolate and cherry compote (I also very much enjoyed all the other choices that the rest of my dinner mates had...especially Tracy's: bananas/raspberries/nutella)

I do recommend this place to anyone because: the prices weren't too bad, and there should be something to suit any taste (especially when you consider the nearly endless combinations that could be had).

Certainly, a place to remember when you want something unique to eat and you're down near/on South Street in Philly!

Amy and I love that place! We went there when she was first working at a theater down on Bainbridge, and it was fan-damn-tastic. I second your recommendation.
