Prepare for tonight's shutting down of all the porn sites. Does this mean that we'll have quite a lot more bandwidth without these sites? What does this mean for the publishers of porn magazines or those who create porn videos/films?

Why can't the government keep out of our business? As long as no one is being hurt and no kids are involved, what difference does it make what we masturbate to?

I personally don't understand how this can happen, given that the internet is a WORLD WIDE thing, not a national thing.... and given this is the first time i've heard about this, i'll wait and see.

I know it'll be overturned, but a lot of the websites I frequent (of course, with gay content) have already removed their photos.

Thankfully, the one site that I frequent is housed in Canada.

actually ...
the free speech coalition has come to some sort of deal with the justice department that buys their members more time to comply ... but it's still all pretty fucked up.
