This also pretty much says it all...

I wouldn't mind living in THIS Canada:

Imagine all of those women in Jesusland who have no new perfumes, no new outfits, no one to do their hair, no one to help plan their weddings, no one to interior design their homes since all the homosexuals would be gone. Imagine there being nothing on the radio except Hip Hop and Country Western music. Imagine there being nothing on television 'cept old reruns of Hee-Haw and the Andy Griffith Show, since all of Hollywood AND New York would be in OUR country.

Go ahead, ban abortion...then have to pay SO much more in taxes for WELFARE to take care of all of those children! Go ahead, put a gun in every home...then watch as rampant gang violence goes even further through the roof. Go ahead, ban all gays...that's fine, we'll already be living in Canada..in San Francisco and New York and Philadelphia and so many other of our great cities. We'll be boosting our economy, while you live in squalor.

Sure, you'll still have Walt Disney World, but we'll have Broadway, Times Square, Atlantic City, Disneyland, the Magnificent Mile, Christopher Street, South Street, Universal Studios, Hollywood, and so many more things...enjoy your vacations to Dollywood!

Hey! Not everybody who lives in the south is a redneck, Jaysus-voting religious minority republican!

Some of us are intelligent, ethical and not persuaded by references to superstition and unspoken prejudices. And we want everybody to have personal freedom and respect.

We'll form our own Berlin here, just help us build the bridge north! :)

He's right. The vote count in the 04 election was split fairly evenly in a lot of the redneck states. BUT it was also split pretty evenly in the "progressive" states as well, with some excpetions, of course. BUT I PROMISED NO MORE POLITICAL POSTS OR COMMENTS, so pretend I wasn't here.

I can't pretend! Everytime I reload the page you're still there! :)

Where did you promise? I'm sorry, I've only seen your replies and not your blog. Can I add you as a friend?

Of course. Though I don't promise anything interesting. Just a lot of non-sequitors, rants, and whines.
