The problem with LJ is we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Trust me, I'm not that interesting, but give it a try anyway.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

When did you know that Paul was the one?

Honestly...14 years ago yesterday is when we first met...

...we were given each other's numbers by our mutual friend, Michael. I drove down to Paul's then house in Avalon.

He made dinner for the two of us (cheese-filled meatloaf and mac/cheese) and we watched Star Trek:Next Gen (Fistful of Datas).

One thing led to another and we "you know"...

...during that, we embraced and kissed and heard a click sound in my head as if two puzzle pieces were fitting into one another and I just knew...

Views on drugs?

It would depend on which drugs we are talking about.

I'm cool with marijuana and think it should be legalized. There should still be some legislation, of course, similar to what is done with nicotine cigarettes but a little stronger (higher fines for selling to minors, etc.). I think it would be great for our American farmlands, since it's an easier crop to grow and maintain, the American public would have better quality marijuana to choose from, I could see Starbucks like marijuana dens popping up throughout the country (I picture something like the "club" that Mary Louise Parker went to in the first season of "Weeds" with full menus, etc.).

As far as other stronger recreational drugs, I'm totally against them primarily because I've seen their effects on people first hand. I watched my mother-in-law pretty much destroy her life/house over the past two years thanks to her heroine abuse and her husband's cocaine abuse. It's taken some time, but we've finally (hopefully) cleaned them up again. Fingers crossed that we won't have to go through it again with them.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be an actor and an author...

...the actor stuff I do with community theatre

...the author stuff...well...the muse kind of left me beyond the occasional LJ post or whatever. I used to have more ideas for stories than I had time to write them down unfortunately...

Beef, chicken, or fish?

BEEF

No question.

Hamburgers WELL, Steaks, etc.

Middle ground is occasionally chicken...fried, grilled, boneless breasts, hot wings, etc.

...I mostly hate seafood. I'll eat some shrimp (like fried, don't like scampi). I like fried flounder and fried cod. I've enjoyed red snapper. I don't even really count it, but I love tuna salad. HATE tilapia, salmon, crab, lobster, oysters. I really can't handle sushi (though I appreciate the artistry that goes into making it).
